Canadian soulsinger Divine Brown starts the year 2013 with Something Fresh. That is the title of her new album. It is the follow up of "The Love Chronicles” which won her the Juno Award for Best R&B Album in 2009. The name Divine Brown refers to Foxy Brown a black moviestar from the seventies. This powerful female character was embodied by actress Pam Grier. Divine's first album called "Divine Brown" was realeased in 2005. It brought her international attention. The first single from Divine Brown's new album is entitled "Gone".
