Which music besides soul music do you listen to?
A: I enjoy different degrees of Jazz music - vocal and instrumental.

How do you use the influences from these music styles into your
own songs?
A: I think theres a definite influence when I arrange the
background vocals given my love of harmonies.

We know you as a singer, but do you also play musical instruments?
A: I started out when I was a child playing drums, then I played
trumpet as well but the rewards were more gratifying when I started
to sing so thats where my commitment continued.

When composing a song, do you consider circumstances under which
is will or should be heard?
A: Yes, I do. Its important to me what is being said in a
song. I dont only want to make you move but to move you with
a subject as well.

Who are your favourite classic soul artists?
A: There are several: Teddy Pendergrass, Anita Baker, Lauryn Hill,
Jeffrey Osborne, Marvin Gaye to name a few

How do you feel about the use of explicit language in music?
A: I understand that some of the offensive language that were
hearing is coming from the basis of what the artist has lived and
what he or she has experienced which is cool but I think it should
be presented in good taste.

A: At this point, Id have to say the title track, In
The Mood.

Are there any special projects you would like to do in the future?
A: Yes, I have a few ideas but Im not sure where Ill
end up yet but Ill certainly let you know when I do!
